William Wallace Neely & Elizabeth Josephine (Fontaine) Neely

Neelys Edward Neely & Ruth Ann (Miller) Neely were the parents of William Wallace Neely.1

Died: July 9, 1882 in Oregon
Ruth Ann (Miller) Neely: 1808 - 1890
Born: October 14, 1808
Died: May 6, 1890 in Long Tom, Lane Co., Oregon

1841 William Wallace Neely was born December 22, 1843 in Cedar County, Missouri.1

1853 Elizabeth Josephine Fontaine was born February 18, 1853 in Boone, Missouri. Her parents were James Davis Fountaine and Matilda H. (Sims) Fountaine.1

1871 William Neely married Elizabeth Fontaine (Fountaine?) October 26, 1871.1

Wm W. & E. J. Neely Family Hugo Pioneers: ca., 1875 - 1883

Children of Wm W. & E. J. Neely Most of their children were born in Oregon. They lived in Hugo, Oregon on Jump Off Joe Creek from at least 1875 - 1882. They were likely in partners with, or living with, the James and Elizabeth F. Neely family. William Wallace and James were brothers.

1895 An "E. F." Neely identified on the 1895 Josephine County map was the owner of almost 600 acres where the Neely children and Trimbles’ graves are located adjacent to the northern boundary of today’s Pleasant Valley Cemetery (PVC).2
