CACs

In the late 1970s there were 14 active Josephine County CACs out of a possible 17.1

North Valley was created out of Fort Vannoy in early 2000: 1. Central Illinois Valley, 2. Colonial Valley, 3. Fort Vannoy, 4. Fruitdale-Harbeck, 5. Hugo, 6. Jones Creek, 7. Jumpoff Joe, 8. Lower Applegate CAC, 9. O’Brien, 10. North Valley, 11. Murphy, 12. Redwood, 13.Selma, 14. Shan Creek, 15. Sunny Valley, 16. Takilma- Rockydale, 17. Williams CAC, and 18. Wolf Creek.

In January 2006 there were two active certified CACs:

1. Lower Applegate CAC. John Taft, Chair, 541-479-0645

2. Williams CAC. Mike Connor, Chair, 541-846-0252

The Citizen Advisory Committee/Neighborhood Association (CACNA) Coalition is an informal association of land use CACs and NAs in Josephine County, Oregon.

In 2003 their were 16 citizens which had elected to register their groups as NAs prior to the county doing away with "notice" of land use applications to NAs for actions in their areas.
