HUGO HISTORY DAY IV - RAFFLE

RAFFLE - Hugo History Day IV is June 5, 2004; the general theme for history day is pioneer days.  It will be held at the Hugo Ladies Club, 6050 Hugo Road, Hugo, Oregon.

The history day program will include a raffle.  Items will be raffled during lunch.

The purpose of the raffle is to encourage people to take the opportunity to participate in Hugo History Day and to support the Hugo Neighborhood Association & Historical Society.

Raffle tickets are $1.00 each and six for $5.00.  You must be present at the raffle to win.

RAFFLE ITEMS - Items may be a personal donation from your favorite hobby or craft.  All members of HUNAHS are encouraged to solicit raffle items from any business they have a connection with.

Eleven raffle items were committed or obtained from members, individuals, and/or businesses as of March 1, 2004.  This raffle list and brochure will be updated as additional donations are donated.

  11. Philadelphia Native Mock Orange shrub, 3-feet tall, Mike & Liz Butowitsch, Ribbit Farms.

MORE INFORMATION - The acronym for our historical society's name, HNA&HS, is pronounced "HU-NAHS".   The use of "HUNAHS" is, we hope, a way to use the magic vowel "U" in Hugo so we can have our own county-wide catchword.  Say it like you say Hugo, HU-NAHS.

Contact an officer of the Hugo Neighborhood if you are interested in becoming involved in the history of our area.

RAFFLE COMMITTEE - Please contact Jacque Hardwick, Chair of the Raffle Committee, if you have products or services to donate for our raffle.
