VII. LOWLAND TAKELMA TRAIL FIELD TRIPS
- The Hugo Native American Teams geographic area
of interest is investigating 12 surveyed Lowland Takelma Trail sites in the Bummer Creek
drainage in the south to over Sexton Mt. Pass and Sunny Valley in the north. The 12
surveyed Lowland Takelma Trail sites are identified with a sequential number (#), trail
site name, alphanumeric trail designator, and the ownership of the land at the trail site.
The ownership is private or public. Field trips to private ownership trail sites are
internal to the Hugo Native American Team. Field trips to public ownership trail sites are
public information and web published. The following Lowland Takelma field trips are
identified geographically from north to south (see Web Section V, Maps & Aerial
Photographs).

Trail. Three Lowland Takelma Trail sites are located on public lands with associated
public web publishing.
